Looks like Jessica Biel has even more in common with her boyfriend, Justin Timberlake: She’s a recording artist.
The actress visited the NightBird recording studios at the Sunset Marquis Hotel on Oct. 9 to lay down a couple tracks.
Biel did “an amazing job,” her rep, Michelle Aselta, tells PEOPLE of the actress’s singing for her upcoming role in Easy Virtue, a remake of a 1928 Alfred Hitchcock film, costarring Colin Firth.
Though JT wasn’t there to give her tips, Biel, 26, was happy to sing into the wee hours.
“Everyone at the studio said, ‘Some girls have everything,’” says her rep. “Jessica Biel is dating a gorgeous guy, she’s a great actress – and she can sing.”
This isn’t her first time belting out a tune: As a kid, she did musicals like Annie and Beauty and the Beast.
So does Biel see pop stardom in her future?
“I’m not sure,” says Aselta, “but I’m sure dating Justin will probably have some influence in that!”

NEW YORK — Jessica Biel, Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas have sold their “Easy Virtue” to Sony Pictures Classics.
The specialty division picked up U.S., South African and Latin American rights to the comedy based on Noel Coward’s play, which premiered last month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Set in the 1920s, Stephan Elliott’s adaptation folows a young woman (Biel) whose happiness with her new husband (Ben Barnes) is offset by the fierce disapproval of her new in-laws (Firth and Thomas).
Barnaby Thompson, Joe Abrams and James D. Stern produced the film. SPC recently picked up another Toronto premiere produced and directed by Stern, the “Chorus Line” docu “Every Little Step.”
Ealing’s Natalie Brenner and Thompson and Endgame’s Douglas Hansen negotiated the deal with SPC.

JESSICA BIEL plans to get lover Justin Timberlake down the aisle by keeping her would-be inlaws sweet.
And the Hollywood beauty had plenty of practice in her latest movie - where she plays a divorcee struggling to impress her new groom’s parents.
Jessica, 26, said: “I always try to impress my boyfriend’s parents. There’s always that period when you meet the mother for the first time and are really putting on a show. The jokes are coming out and you’re trying so hard.”
“I’ve never had any really big conflicts but it’s always intimidating. Mind you, if there is anyone worse than the mother it’s the sister. You have to get the sister on your side.”
Jessica reckons she’ll succeed where Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears failed because she gets on fine with Justin’s beloved mum Lynn and stepfather Paul.
The Sexyback singer had just split from long-term love Cameron when he fell for Jess at the 2007 Golden Globes.
They were immediately hailed as Hollywood’s hottest couple and Jessica.
Now art is imitating life with the release of Easy Virtue.
The quaint 1930s-set rom-com is based on the Noel Coward play of the same name.
Jessica plays an American who must face the parents of her new British husband (Narnia star Ben Barnes) after their whirlwind wedding during a holiday in Paris.
The actress, who has dated Leonardo di Caprio and Fantastic Four star Chris Evans, says she knows all about trying to get potential in-laws to like her.
Jessica’s stunning figure has earned her the title of Hollywood’s sexiest woman and her never-ending list of male admirers is said to include Easy Virtue co-star Barnes.
Jessica laughs off suggestions he was smitten during filming.
She said: “That’s because he had only dealt with cartoon fake things before. He was filming with fake animals in Narnia and I think he was just so pleased to have people to talk to on our set.”

RIO DE JANEIRO — Sony Pictures Classics has picked up Latin American rights to Stephan Elliott’s “Easy Virtue,” the 1920s-set romantic comedy with dynamite disco tracks.
Pic, loosely based on the play by Noel Coward about a British aristocrat who falls for an American divorcee, much to the chagrin of his family, has won praise from critics and marks a comeback for Elliott, who was forced to put his career on hold for almost a decade after suffering a near-fatal ski accident in France.
Pic stars Ben Barnes, Jessica Biel, Kristin Scott Thomas and Colin Firth.
