Hayden Panettiere has defeated Jessica Biel in the Rear Projection division finals of HDTV ‘Hottie Hysteria’ — TVPredictions.com’s elimination tournament to determine who’s the hottest female in High-Definition TV.
TVPredictions.com is posting a daily reader poll pitting one celebrity babe against another. Readers are being asked to vote on which female looks best in high-def. Then, based on their votes, each winner will move to the next round until only one woman is left standing.
In the Panettiere-Biel contest, Hayden (above), who plays the cheerleader on NBC’s Heroes, captured 56 percent of the vote to Jessica’s 44 percent. (3,306 readers voted in the poll.)
Hayden, the eighth seed in the Rear Projection division of Hottie Hysteria, will now face the winner of the Jessica Alba-Halle Berry contest in the Final Four!

Did you pick up any of the tabloids when Jessica Biel had that platinum hair? Weirdness!
The thing I like about Jess—can I call her that?—is that while she is obviously smoking-hot, she also has this natural, outdoorsy, sporty thing going on which sooo sets her apart from the 30-some-odd other young blonde starlets out there.
The blonde style was clearly just for her role in Easy Virtue, which she was shooting in England, because paps snapped her walking her dog the other day with her usual light brown hair color. While she definitely looked great blonde—let’s be honest, the girl would look gorgeous with a Sideshow Bob wig—I think the highlighted light cocoa color gels with her personal style (and complexion) so much better, don’t you?

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - James Marsden, Catherine Keener and Tracy Morgan are close to getting “Nailed.”
The trio are in final negotiations to star opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel in David O. Russell’s romantic comedy “Nailed.”
Marsden (”Enchanted”) will play the small-town boyfriend of Biel’s character Alice, a naive waitress who gets a nail shot into her head, causing erratic and outrageous behavior. She heads to Washington to fight for better health care and ends up falling for a clueless new congressman (Gyllenhaal) who must summon the political courage to save her.
Keener (”Into the Wild”) will play a self-serving congresswoman. The filmmakers are finalizing details on the character for Morgan, one of the stars of NBC’s “30 Rock.”
Russell wrote the script with Kristen Gore, a daughter of Al Gore. Principal photography is set to begin April 14.

Bill Purple’s Hole in the Sky is 33 minutes of exquisitely observed loneliness and is easily the saddest film in this year’s Florida Film Festival. It’s a simple story, handsomely mounted and told with pathos by a terrific cast that includes Jessica Biel, Steven Collins and Garry Marshall.
Jason Clarke stars as Howard, a “perpetual student” at an unnamed university, a misanthropic math whiz and chess buff whose contempt for the world oozes out of every anti-social pore. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and in his eyes, that includes pretty much everyone, especially the old coot (Garry Marshall) who offers him no real competition in a chess tournament.
But Howard needs work-study money, and the only place his adviser (Collins) can find it is in a research lab. That’s where the mousy, shy and sensitive lab tech (Jessica Biel, terrific) tries to keep him from snooping around their research.
